Bring Dolora to Chrome
Effective October 15, 2026
Install the direct-download version while the Chrome Web Store listing is being prepared. Use desktop Google Chrome 116 or later. The extension connects to Dolora’s online service; no local server or personal API key is needed.
Download Chrome extensionChrome Web Store: the listing link will appear here when the extension is published. Downloading this ZIP does not install it automatically.
Install in four steps
- Download the ZIP and extract it into a folder you will keep on your computer.
- Open chrome://extensions in Chrome’s address bar and turn on Developer mode.
- Choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
- Open Dolora from Chrome’s extensions menu and sign in with Google or your email code. Pin the extension if you want it on your toolbar.
Use Dolora beside a page
Click Dolora’s icon on the page you want to work with. The side panel opens beside it. Use a page tool to summarize or ask about the current page, or select text and use Dolora from the right-click menu. Protected Chrome pages and the Chrome Web Store cannot be read by extensions.
The shortcut is Alt+M (Option+M on Mac). You can change it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. The interface includes English, Español, Українська, and Русский; choose your language in Settings.
Update or remove
Direct-download installations do not receive Chrome Web Store updates automatically. Download a new release, replace the files in the same extracted folder, and click Reload on Dolora at chrome://extensions. When a Store version is available, follow the migration instructions on this page.
To uninstall, choose Remove on Dolora’s extension card. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription or erase your online workspace. Manage billing in Dolora and contact support for permanent data deletion.
